Your coach

Hi, I'm Christon.

Nutrition coach, Army veteran, and someone who has been on both extremes of the health spectrum — and found her way to the middle.

I know what it's like to obsess over your body, struggle with consistency, and feel like you're always starting over. That lived experience is exactly why I coach the way I do.

B.S. Human Nutrition & Foods · University of Houston · ACEND Track

My story

I used to think discipline was the answer to everything.

As a teenager, I found fitness through dance and martial arts. When I discovered bodybuilding, I became obsessed — macros, physique, pushing my body to its limits. I tracked everything. I controlled everything. And for a while, I thought that was what health looked like.

It wasn't. I was prioritizing appearance over everything else, experiencing body dysmorphia, and paying for it in ways I didn't fully understand yet.

"I thought if I just had enough discipline, I could force my body into the shape I wanted. What I really needed was a sustainable relationship with food and movement — not a stricter plan."

Then came the Army — and a 30-pound wake-up call.

Serving in the Texas Army National Guard, I watched soldiers around me — dedicated, disciplined people — struggle with weight management, energy crashes, and chronic joint pain. Despite daily training and real effort, their bodies weren't responding the way they expected.

I was one of them. My focus on heavy lifting and high protein led to a 30-pound weight gain. For someone who had spent years studying nutrition, that was humbling — and clarifying.

It confirmed something I was beginning to understand: knowing about nutrition and actually eating in a way that supports your real life are two completely different things.

Then I learned about Blue Zones — and everything shifted.

In a community nutrition class, I was introduced to the concept of Blue Zones — regions of the world where people live significantly longer, healthier lives. Not because they follow strict diets or intense programs, but because of how they structure their daily lives: movement woven into routine, simple nourishing food, strong community.

It completely reframed how I think about health. The goal isn't perfection. It's building a life where feeling good is the default — not something you have to fight for every single day.

"Sustainable wellness isn't about willpower. It's about building habits so natural they stop feeling like effort."

This is why I coach the way I do. I work with women who are done with the restart cycle — who have tried the meal plans and 30-day challenges — and are ready for something that actually fits their real life.

What I believe

My coaching values

Sustainability first

If it doesn't fit your real life, it won't last. Every recommendation is built around your actual schedule, preferences, and goals — not an ideal version of them.

No shame, no perfection

Progress is never linear. I meet you where you are, celebrate small wins, and adjust when life gets hard — because it will.

You're not a template

Cookie-cutter plans don't work because you're not a cookie-cutter person. Your coaching is built for you specifically — and it evolves as you do.

What's included

Kickoff video call

We start with a personal 45-minute call to learn about your goals, history, lifestyle, and what's gotten in the way before. This is where your plan is born.

Personalized macro ranges

You'll get a flexible starting point for protein, carbs, and fats — framed as a range, not a rigid prescription. Plus simple meal templates that take the guesswork out.

Weekly check-ins

Every week we review progress — what's working, what isn't, and what to adjust. Consistent small recalibrations over time are where real change happens.

Messaging support

Have a question between check-ins? Hit a rough week? Message me. I respond within 48 hours and I'm here to help you troubleshoot — not just cheer you on.

Movement guidance

Not a structured training plan — but practical, personalized recommendations for how to move more in a way that fits your life, whether that's walking, gym, or home workouts.

Behavior & habit coaching

This is what most programs skip. We work on the real stuff — stress eating, inconsistency, motivation dips, and the mental barriers that have derailed you before.

Returning clients get more

After your first month, you'll have access to discounted commitment packages — ask me about options once we've worked together.

Fit matters

Who this is — and isn't — for

This is for you if...

  • You're tired of starting over and want something sustainable
  • You're a beginner or returning to healthy habits after a long break
  • You want personalized guidance, not just generic information
  • You're willing to make gradual, consistent changes over time
  • You want accountability from someone who genuinely gets it

This isn't for you if...

  • You're looking for a quick fix or crash diet
  • You need clinical medical nutrition therapy for a diagnosed condition
  • You're not open to adjusting your current habits
  • You want a rigid plan to follow without discussion or adjustment
  • You're unwilling to show up consistently between check-ins

Common questions

Are you a registered dietitian?

Not yet — I'm a nutrition coach with a B.S. in Human Nutrition & Foods from the University of Houston and will be beginning my M.S. in Dietetics in January 2027. I provide wellness and lifestyle coaching, not clinical medical nutrition therapy. If you have a diagnosed medical condition requiring clinical nutrition care, I'll always refer you to the right professional.

How is this different from just following a meal plan I find online?

A generic plan doesn't know your schedule, your food preferences, your stress triggers, or your history. I do. We build something together that accounts for your real life — and we adjust it as your life changes.

How do the weekly check-ins work?

Check-ins are done via a short weekly form or message — no scheduling required. You fill it out on your own time and I respond with feedback, adjustments, and encouragement. If you ever want to hop on a call, just let me know.

What if I need to cancel?

Month-to-month clients can cancel anytime before their next billing cycle with no penalty. No hoops, no hard feelings — though I'll always try to work through any challenges with you first before we call it.

Do I need any equipment or apps?

No special equipment required. I'll make recommendations based on what you already have access to. For tracking, I may suggest a free app like MyFitnessPal, but nothing is mandatory — we work with your lifestyle.

Ready to make it stick?
